Experienced Leadership

Privatejets.com and Sentient Jet are led by an experienced management team that brings together a wide range of experiences from world-class organizations including American Express, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, McKinsey and Company, the United States Navy and Wal-Mart. The executive team has a combined 30 years with the company.

Marty Guinoo, Chief Executive Officer

Before his role as Chief Executive Officer, Marty was Senior Vice President of Service for Sentient Jet. Prior to joining Sentient Jet, Marty was the Director of Revenue Management for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. While at Starwood, Marty was responsible for driving both revenue and market share working on product development as well as with the corporate sales team. Prior to Starwood, Marty was Director of Operations Research for Priceline.com, a leading online travel provider, where he focused on product development and pricing strategy. Before Priceline.com, Marty was a Management Consultant for SH&E of Cambridge, MA where he focused on Network Planning and Revenue Management for major airlines.

Marty received a B.A. from Harvard.

Marty joined Sentient in October, 2004.

Matt Sevick, Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Sentient, Matt was Senior Director at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., responsible for the U.S strategy team. Matt was also a Management Consultant at Monitor Consulting in Cambridge, MA and Johannesburg, South Africa working with large companies, governments and private equity investors. Matt received his B.A in Economics from Harvard University and his M.B.A from Stanford University's Graduate School of business.

Matt joined Sentient in November, 2006.

Charles Starkowsky, Chief Safety Officer

In this role, Charles is responsible for the management of Sentient and PrivateJets.com's safety programs as well as working directly with the company's Independent Safety Advisory Board. Prior to Sentient, Charles handled ground security and training for Midwest Airlines.

Before Midwest, Charles held the position of Flight Instructor at Alpha One Flight School in Plymouth, MA. Charles is a Certified Flight Instructor with both Land and Sea Ratings.

Charles received his B.S. in Aviation Science from Bridgewater State College, as well as a B.A. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Charles joined Sentient in June, 2004.

Adam Hohulin, Vice President, Service Operations

Adam comes to Sentient from the fractional provider Flight Options, where he was the Director of Operations Command Center and accountable for the daily operations of over 210 aircraft. Before both Flight Options and Sentient, Adam spent 8 years as a professional pilot flying both turboprop and jet aircraft under Part 135 and 121. Adam received his B.S in Aeronautical Science with a minor in Air Traffic Control from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

Adam joined Sentient in 2006.

Tom Bax, President, Sentient Jet Charter

Prior to joining Sentient Jet, Tom was Vice President at HSBC.

Tom joined Sentient in 2007.

Kirsten LaMotte, Vice President, Partnerships and Events

Prior to joining Sentient Jet, Kirsten was Senior Director of Marketing for Millsport Sports Marketing. She also held positions at Sports Illustrated including Director of Sports Marketing and Promotions and also Olympic Manager.

Kirsten joined Sentient in 2004.
